On the 26th June on what was a chilly start to the day, but fresh, dry and a great start to a Sunday out in the hills of Surrey.
The route itself is 166km and heads out into the North Downs offering stunning views over the Kent and Surrey countryside and Biggin Hill, then the route heads towards Reigate and Dorking where you get to tackle a timed climb of Box Hill. The route climbs 1098 meters and has a max elevation of 275 meters. Finally you return into London for a spin around the iconic Herne Hill Velodrome, a place where Sir Bradley Wiggins himself trained as a kid!
